Biography:

A former co-editor with the pluralist organization AI and Faith, Haley
studies philosophy of religion and technology in the modern West. Her
doctoral work investigates how the history of instrumental logic has
been shaped by—and in turn shaped—projects of empire. Drawing on moral
philosophy, technology ethics, and the pragmatist tradition, she
envisions a future in which AI is accountable to democratic ideals.
